I met with my new doc today and he doesn't want to send me for tests or to a specialist and even though it sounds strange, I'm agreeing for now. It's true I can't have a normal BM without enducing it, and then only once a week if I am lucky. But like the doc said, I am no longer in pain from that, am not having any other serious symptoms like bleeding or cramping, etc. He just feels I need more high fiber foods, more water and exercise and it will fix itself. He wants me to wait 3 more weeks til our next appt., and see if anything is better by then.

It's ok with me because it does seem that time has healed all my other post-op problems slowly but surely. And I want to avoid bowel tests if possible (makes things worse). So 3 weeks doesn't seem that long to wait. What do you think?

When I told my physical therapist about this he was not happy. It seems my PT thinks some of my back pain is due to adhesions! Has anyone ever heard of this happening? I haven't seen anyone mention it here, other than Chris and she and her docs didn't think hers were from adhesions. Gina
