A TAH/BSO (? oopherectomy) is the total removal of organs. I believe this includes the cervix. Hysterectomy will affect your life and this can depend on your age. The further away you are from menopause the more the removal of your ovaries will affect you. I have heard cases of women that have their cervix removed and its painful, they feel nothing or its like they are just empty their.

If you doctor does not do HRT, for fear of return of endo, it is also a difficult adjustment.

Removal those organs can throw off your hormonal balance. Plus there is not a uterus there, so partners might have to make adjustments. The best thing to do is to check out some hyst web sites to be more accurate on the changes.
