Excellent posting helen. I made several copy's and will distribute them
at our next " adhesion Support Group " meeting! You bring up some very
good points...and we know how desperate adhesion sufferer's are, I was
to, but one MUST be aware of all implications before agreeing to
surgery. If you still feel that your going to better off having an
adhesiolysis, and you have weighed all the implications...then you know
what the future May hold for you and you have not gone into that surgery
without prior knowledge.
Keep Helens list for future refference, look it over, make sure surgery
is what you really want...elective surgery is YOUR choice, emergency
surgery is not....but any surgery must be delt with responsibly and with
respect of your being an adhesion former...
To date there are NOT any known cures...NON! To date the ONLY way to
diagnose adhesions is to do an invasive surgical procedure...NO OTHER
way is effective and can factually diagnose adhesions, NON! ...and that
statement is a fact!
Be carefull, be smart, be aware...be your own best DR.!
