Sharonda,

First of all, it is me, Rhonda. I am writing to you from another location. My stomach hurts most of the time, sometimes worse after eating in the upper right quadrant. Actually, the pain is right under my rib cage, centered under my breast. It stretches from that point down to about level with my navel. It's not constant but it does last long enough that I feel like I'm in pain most of the time. It didn't show up on any test and apparently a sono won't pick this up. I don't quite know how the HIDA scan works but I believe it forces the gall bladder to contract and measures how stuff gets out. Hope this helps and that your mass turns out to be something simple.
