When you go to your MD about your common bile duct- Ask about spincter of
oddi disfunction- This can cause pain like a gall bladder attack but it is
the spincter in spasm./ They test this with an ERCP and doing pressure
readings. Also the pancreatic spinter is in the same area and should be
considered in the work up.
Just a thought. I managed many years on a calcium channel blocker until I
finally had the spincters cut. Good luck Rose
