In an earlier reply, someone mentioned the new adhesion barriers that should be coming out soon. THere are also some that are available now, if you can't wait that long and haven't already tried them. I had surgery with intergel -- one of the new ones -- this summer as part of their clinical trials. They are supposed to be having the hearings on it soon, so it could be approved for use in adhesion surgery within a few months.
I had my surgery done in Pittsburgh by a doctor recommended by Harry Reich. Reich has an office in New York City, but his original office is in Kingston, PA, which is in northeast PA, so closer to your area. He is well-known and highly recommended and specializes in women's pelvic surgery so you might check with him, although someone wrote recently (not sure which group I read this in) about him having some old-fashioned ideas about endo. (can't remember the details now). But his office staff in Kingston is very nice and it couldn't hurt to talk to him.
