Four days ago I thought our computer had died! All I was able to view was a very black screen.

Luckily I was able to find someone locally who came to our house and was able to "revive" it. At the the same time he downloaded our computer so that it would be Y2K compliant.

Now - when I respond to a message - the *Subject* of the previous message does not appear. If I fail to fill it in, *(no title)* appears. Is there someway that can be restore?

On the *plus* side I noticed that when I typed in the first letter of the first word in the message box, the message box doesn't "dive downward" as it did before. This is a welcome change!!

Perhaps Bruce will read this message and be able to help me with it.
