The mission of the International Adhesions Society
(IAS) is to:
- Provide information on ARD, its treatment and prevention,
to patients, doctors and other professionals.
- Provide support to patients suffering from ARD (It
does not diagnose or treat specific health problems.)
- Promote research in the prevention and treatment
of ARD.
- Serve as a forum for public education; to raise
the level of awareness among doctors, healthcare providers,
government, and the public at large to prompt a more
comprehensive and integrated care for adhesion sufferers.
