After all of my surgeries, I have had so much pain caused by the gas. In my case the gas settles in my shoulders, neck, and ribs. It takes at least a week before it dissipates and/or reabsorbs into my body. The pain is so excruciating that it takes all of my energy and will to move those parts of my body. I have always said, that I can handle the surgery, if it wasn't for the gas. Bless my Mother, God lover her...she has set with me days after surgery rubbing my shoulders, neck, and rib area's, hoping to soothe the pain and she has cried with me as well. But you know what? I would do anything and go anywhere, if it was going to make me well and feel better. Does anyone else have the same pain, caused by the gas? renee
