If your bowels are inflamed use this recipe:
BOIL 6 CUPS OF WATER - THEN ADD 1TB of FLAXSEEDS -AND LET SIMMER FOR 5 MINUTES- THEN TAKE IT OFF THE BURNER AND LET COOL- THEN STRAIN THE SEEDS OUT AND PUT IN A GLASS JAR IN THE FRIDGE TAKE 1/4-1/2 CUP IN SOME JUICE A DAY
It really works ! I had really bad gas for the first 2 days though.
Or if your not inflamed you could do this recipe : 1/2 tbs. flaxseed to every 1/2 cup water- let soak for 6-8 hours - drink and chew seeds - followed by 1-2 glasses of water . This one gives you the fiber.
Finally something that is not bad for you and it works !! I also added other things like Aloe Vera, a tonic for your bowels, acidopholis, for yeast in bowel and helps with inflammation, and a digestive enzymes , which will help get the nutrients from your food and help inflammation of the bowel. I am not a nutritionalist this is what the gal at the health food store said her doctor said to do for constipation and it works for me. Talk to ya latter, Jaynie
