Can't get ahead of the pain today..any tips??

Hello All...I can't get ahead of my pain today..it is awful! I have taken 3 lortab 5/500 and it goes away for about 1/2 hour..then bam! it's back...if there was anytime that I wanted to go to the ER, it is today!!! Can anyone give me tips on how they handle it?? Thanks for listening!
