I have pain all the time. My pain meds keep it mostly at a tolerable
level, but some days it is worse. If I do too much, the next day, my
pain will be much worse, I also sometimes have stabbing pain, that is so
bad, it takes my breath away. For a long time, I took Vicodin for the
pain, although I was never pain free. My Dr had to add more meds, until
we found a combination of different medications to get more relief. I
am now using the duragesic patch, vicodin 10mg,& equagesic tablets. Most
days I still have tolerable pain. 2 1/2 years ago, I had a barium enema
which showed 2 pollups & I had a colonoscopy to remove them, at that
time every thing else seemed fine, but I still had pain, because of the
adhesions. On Oct 3, I will be having a procedure done where they will
stick a tube in my nose & into my intestines. The Dr thinks that it
will show that my adhesions are either squeezing my intestines, or have
them twisted. I hope you like it here,
You will find suport & tons of information here
Best wishes,
Robin
