Dear Karla,

Dr. Bernd-Uwe Sevin, Oncologist, OBgyn, Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL, previously taught medicine for approximately 20 years at the University of Miami, FL. He has used "Dura Mater" to repair hernias and has written articles about its use. What is it? Lining from the brain of a deceased person. If you call Dr. Sevin at (904) 952-200/953-2216, he will send you information on the use of "Dura Mater." As far as I know, he is the only doctor who uses it. A friend of mine who had herniated a few times after having had a Tram Flap, had it placed in her. Gloria can be reached at e-mail: Glory9743@aol.com.
