Linda,
The system is a pump that is placed under the skin that is connected to
the spine and the area of hte pain. BY what I'm understanding it
regulates the medicine internally so that I would have less pain but the
medicine wouldn't be affecting my brain! It seems that it would be
replaced every 3-5 years when the batery runs out and the medicine would
be refilled every month or so depending on usage! Sounds like an
alternative if I can't get rid of these pains!
