Susan,
I know just what you are feeling. I had a sm. bowel resection (benign
tumor, a large bowel resection for divirtulitisi, and the release of an
adhesions that had made
me almost totally obstucted. About 3 weeks after surgery I
began having cramping and lots of gas, I also have breathlessness after
I eat. I feel like my abdomen is going to explode in fact I believe I
would feel better if it did ;). I am always trying to get more air.
My surgeron says it is from adhesions. Since I had so much
surgery in May he wants to wait at least a year. And I agree. Of
course if things get worst that would change the picture.
