By understanding a persons DNA, I am hoping they can determine what causes some people scar so severely compared to others. If they can determine the part of DNA that contributes to this, it is hopeful that a cure a can be found for the patients. They predict in 20 years there will be no more cancer. If they can make predictions like this, there is no reason why abdominal scarring cannot be reduced.
