dear gidge, i am scheduled for hyster in 2 weeks, I knew my pain was real and a laparoscopy confirmed adhesions. The best way to handle a doctor that will not listen is ask for a referal for a second opinion. That will get their attention. If they are not willing to listen to you (you know your body better than any one and pain is a sign that something is wrong) FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR! I have the pain that you are talking about in the legs ..mine is adhesions.........yours could be too, make them listen to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOurs, Donna
