Hello. I am 24 years old and have had 2 laparoscopies for
endometriosis. During both surgeries I have more adhesions than
endometriosis. yet my GI doc and gyno think that my adhesions have
nothing to do with my bowel problems. After my last surgery my bowel
movements became very strange. The caliber(width) of my BM is very
narrow. It is what one would call "pencil like" stools. I have
difficulty having a BM. I often strain, yet I'm not constipated.
Doesn't this sound like adhesions? My last surgery my gyno said that my
sigmoid colon was literally flipped up and adhered to my back wall.
Still, my GI doc doesnt that that will cause a problem. How do I go
about finding a doctor who will listen?
