Hi every-one Hopefully you all have survived the holidays? I went to a surgeon today...a new one, they had sent me to a kidney specialist yesterday due to blood in the urine, that is always present when they test me. He wanted me to go in the hospital for the test that they do with the camera, well had this test 10 years ago and nothing showed, so I told him that I want to go see a surgeon about the adhesions because I cant take it anymore, amazingly i got an appointment today, well I was told you know that they will come back so why go thru it, you cant be lying around because of the pain you have to get up, and of course I have to go see the bowel specialist, have a ultra sound, lower GI, back to the kidney specialist, then he will tell me what he thinks. Of course I had to hear about the complications and he looked at me like I was a little looney. I felt like a drug addict begging for heroin. You know the pain that we do experience from the surgery, and the risks that we take by having it, don't they realize that we wouldn't even consider it, if we weren't in extreme pain. I have been up since 2a.m. this morning sitting in a chair with pain, I am 46yrs. old and I am living like a 90 yr.old woman ( I am sure some act younger than me lol ). I can't live like this anymore, there is no quality of life living like this. Of course I cried while trying to explain how I feel, but they just tilt their head and kind of look at you strange, today once again I feel defeated, as I am filling my calendar with all the appointments they want me to make, the feeling of defeat is rising, none of us asked for the way we are having to live our life, we cant get out of our bodies for a few hours to recoupe from the pain, we can't get away from it, nor the pain of trying to get some-one to help you! Thank-God once again for all of you.

Hi
I too have always had it on my left side. I figured if I could just
remove the left side of me I would be fine, why I feel it more on one
side versus the other, but think of it in a positive way, it could be
left and right that we feel it, (lol), I know this is not funny but we
have to try to find some humor in all this or we will be just be
miserable, thank- god for this sight and all the wonderful people that
are here, God bless.
