Hi...Probably a silly question...but has anyone else ever gone through this problem??? I have had 8 abd. surgeries..the last two for adhesions..(of course) anyway...... when I have to go back in for adhesion/or whatever surgery( in the future) can the doctor do a "tummy tuck" or some better term for the extra stomach flesh caused from all the abd. surgeries in the past? Maybe there is another term they can use for insurance reasons to do the procedure??? Any thoughts..It really bugs me..I never had a stomach until all these surgeries and cutting through the stomach muscles etc.

Sure appreciate any and all ideas on this...I can't afford to pay more for this out of pocket...I do know from working in surgery years ago...that to cut out extra skin is not a big deal and doesn't take long at all... How to approach this with your doctor? Is there a medical or health reason that this "extra" stomach pouchy stuff can cause other problems and it needs to be removed???

Thanks.... Linda
