I have seen alot of postings on constipation. I am more prone to
diarrhea most of the time. But then there are times of constipation
too. There is hardly ever any normal bowel movements. Lately it has
been more constipation. And boy is my side hurting more than it was. I
had two OB/GYN's. One was a micro surgeon. She said that diarrhea is
very common in woman who have endometriosis. I thought that was taken
care of last June with my hysterectomy. In February they took out 3
inches of my colon. In June when I had the hysterectomy, the adhesions
had wrapped themselves around my rectum. It was pinched off and bent
over at a 45 degree angle. My doctor said he had no idea how I even had
a bowel movement. But even back then it was a lot of diarrhea. I kind
of swing back and forth from one to the other. Is this common? Have any
of you experienced the same? Thanks for the help. It is kind of
embarrassing, but I need to know from the people who have experienced it
themselves.
