Dear Karen,

I also had cyst on left side. When I had my first surgery my tubes and ovaries were adhered to my bowels. They cut all of it out and wrapped my tubes in interceed wrap. It was only four short months and I was back for surgery again. They did a hysterectomy and I am still in sever pain, problems with constipation to the point of hospitalization. My pain radiates down my legs. The pain gets so bad that it makes my joints ache from it. I have tried several different pain meds and none help much at all. I was on 8 meds and finally found a pain management dr. that has helped me get down to 5. Good luck with your new Dr. and I will keep you in my prayers.
