Dear Jackie I had no success with my ileostomy(two of them)because within a few day of getting one,I ended up with abceses around the ileostomies and could not get a seal on them. They also could not control the diarrhoea at all I was on so much medication for it too. However it has been much better since I had the small bowel sewn to the rectum although I still have diarrhoea to a certain degree.however poor Lynne, the lady that had her bowel stretched,is still having enormous problems, mainly with adhesions.Love always Robyne.
