Dear Millie no it is not painful at all it is like having an enema.As I said it is an important test and I know myself that if there is anything that I can have or do that will allow the correct decision to be made then I will go through it.I was all ready and prepped to go to theatre when my surgeon came running in and asked me if he could hold off surgery until he had done this test because he said that it would make sure that he was making the right choice in the type of surgery that he had planned to do.
