Michele,
Did you mean that the pain radiates from the back to the front? I have had kidney stones well over than 8 times. The pain I had radiated from my right side in my back to my front and it was below the ribs like you said. I'm not saying that it couldn't be adhesions, but it doesn't hurt to maybe ask you dr about it. I hope you get some help soon.
