Dear Sue, I don't have any information to pass on as I've never experienced much rectal pain except holding the eintire area firmly with a wet washcloth so I don't rip. And this has only happened a few times in the past as I've had too big salads. It sounds like you need a specialist. Have you tried the various web pages alluded to in the past in the archives plus the adhesion quilt. Love and best wishes, Sally in California
