Dear Marianne:

Yes, we still use Kanucks, although I hear more Canadians using it than anyone else. Of course it is different here in the Maritimes too. Laid back, relaxed, "manana" outlook. We are about 15 miles outside of Woodstock, NB, which is a town of about 5,000. Woodstock is situated right on the Saint John River, which forms part of the border between New Brunswick and Maine, but we are out in the country, away from the river. Beautiful out here - and it actually got up to 86 today!!! Now they're calling for thunderstorms tomorrow. Guess I'll have a house guest tomorrow (the neighbor's dog).

Time to go put the feet up and knit - legs are "cramped" from the hop to the ankle today. Haven't done a whole lot.

Take care.

Nancy in NB
