Got this in an e-mail from Medscape today, checked it out and found it really interesting in view of the fact that I have been involved in 4 MVA's while wearing a seatbelt within the past 13 years - only two of them serious, but still something to think about:
>CHRONIC INTERMITTENT INTESTINAL OBSTRUCTION FROM A SEAT BELT INJURY
>Intra-abdominal adhesions cause most mechanical small bowel
>obstructions.

Think I'll print this out and take it to the GP and to the pain clinic - if I live long enough to get to the PMU....
Pain-free weekend to everyone.
