I have heard a case of a young girl recently whose cause of abdominal adhesions was a car wreck, in this case her ribs were broken in the accident
I work with alot of auto injury cases, and their chronic pain acts very ours,the trauma changes their muscles physiologically, and it is very hard for them to recover sometimes. Rather than abdominal pain, they experience chronic neck and back pain, migrane headaches, etc. A different type of adhesions can form in muscle tissue anywhere in the body, these adhesions also cause chronic and sometimes debilitating pain.
