HI Janet

HI Janet,

Thanks for asking. I'm doing better lately. It's taken almost 3 weeks for me to start feeling better after that last surgery. I guess I was expecting it to be like the last one-where I felt 95% fixed after only one day! I guess it takes your body longer to recover after each surgery. I haven't posted alot lately-1-because of the pain and 2-because I was feeling so icky I didn't want to upset anyone who has been waiting for their own surgery. The pain I went in for is gone(internal hernia and a large mass that turned out to be a ball of intestine stuck together)-but there is other pain now. I'm taking oxycontin so I am able to care for my kids and house (yeah!) now. Slowly, day by day, I seem to be feeling a little better. It's just going to take awhile this time. It was so good to hear how well you are doing. It gives me hope. I would love to be doing some of those same things that you are in the future. I'm sure you are feeling much better now that you are somewhat settled in. You sound stronger. It's amazing what a bad relationship can take from us. I'm glad to hear you are doing so well, now. Take care,

Love Gloria :)

Oh, and thank you, Jean, for all the info on viruses. It might take me awhile to do but your instructions were very clear. There's so much to learn on this computer-I just wish I had the time to learn more. I'll be dealing with the virus the next chance I get to sit here. And thanks for the laughs. I read all the postings. Even though they were not meant for me-I really laughed too. You're funny and it feels good to smile. I'm trying to do more of that lately. Thanks again.

Love, Gloria :)
