We are in desperate need of our fellow ARD sufferers stepping forward in their respective states and meeting with their area state assemblymen to get a state citation started that will bring recognition in how Ardhesion Related Disease is viewed and dealt with. We can help anyone setup appointments with their state representatives to begin this process. This process has already begun in Wisconsin and New York. It involves no public speaking....unless you are so inclined. All we need is for you, our fellow ARD sufferers to step forward so that it isn't just one person talking (remember it takes more than one person to be heard sometimes). If we keep saying that ARD has such a major impact but have no one willing to say they are tired of suffering then we are going to have no one willing to listen. It is time to make changes so that the suffering ends. Do you want your children or your grandchildren to know the suffering as a part of their lives as it is in yours? It is time to take action.
It is time for ARD sufferers to come forward and help make changes. We have been told that the action must begin at the state level....and it IS in every state in America. But, we must have help...your help. Are you willing? It is time to put action behind our pain. Perhaps focusing on this will in fact lessen the pain....if only having the knowledge that there might be an end in sight? But, once again....it takes you!
