Rachel You can developed adhesions many different ways, the most common way is by surgery. But if you had any type of an infection, that can definitely lead to scar tissue. If you had inflammation due to something again lead to scare tissue. And there are many others. As for the problem you are having you said after you eat they start.. Which area if you could point with one finger which one would it be? Its possible that its IBS those have all those symptoms. Ulcers/gerd/hiatial hernia same symptoms. There are several reason that could be causing them. Unfortunately going through test after test to find out is not easy..good luck and hope you feel better soon hon. Kimmi
