Hi! I have a son who is almost 19 and fortunately I've never had to go
through anything like that with him. It's been more like he's the parent and
I'm the kid! Your son is probably having trouble dealing with you being sick
and feeling helpless that he can't do anything to make you better. I think
you just need to love him and reassure him that you will be there for him and
love him no matter how you are feeling, that your love for him doesn't
change. Teenagers can be trying!
