Dear Steph As long as you can live with the pain, I don't think you should do anything. If you are having more pain than you can handle, find a Dr that will work with you on getting meds to control it. I was 22 when I had my first c-section that caused my adhesions. I am now almost 41 and live with daily pain. I take pain meds to help control the pain, but I have found nothing that takes the pain away & keep it away. If you want to have surgery, ONLY have it done by a specialist in adhesions. If you have surgery by a dr that isnt a specialist, or you could end up with even MORE adhesions and the pain that goes with them and a lot of other problems too. A hysterectomy will NEVER get rid of adhesion pain. A good support system will help. This board gives us a place to talk with others in the same boat, a place to vent when the going gets rough, and a place for love and support and a lot of information. my best wishes to you robin
