Dear Sherry, Thank you for your words of wisdom. I am luck in that I am in that I have worked in the medical field for a number of years and am now a student nurse, hoping to go on to medical school. My surgeon would not use the septrafilm on me because he said it is worse to have to completely open you up than to go in laproscopically. And he said it wasn't proving to be a very good barrier. I know what I need, and it is available in Germany, but cannot afford it. I am headed for a bowel obstruction if I don't do something before very long. I read everything I can and I PRAY! Go to see my surgeon this Thursday and I have a wealth of new info to give him. I'm hoping that he can help me. I know of people that have gone to Dr. Reich in New York and they have been pain free for longer than you. I know there are no easy answers, but I plan on making sure that everyone especially in the medical field understands just exactly what adhesions are. Raven
