You can learn about a product called Intergel wich is manufactured by
Ethicon here in the US, by typing either name into your search engine.
It has very mixed reviews. It cannot be used in a laproscopic
procedure, which is the only kind you should be having. Laparotomies,
open abdominal procedures are very risky and usually cause many more
adhesions. Intergel is FDA approved as of Feb 18th of this year, but
it's FDA approval is limited to gynelocigal procedures before adhesions
form. A new product that is proving to be the best adhesion barrier
became available in Europe in January. Won't be available here for
several years.
