Hi, I have had multiple abdominal surgeries, and over the years parts of
my abdomin are numb. Everytime they cut into you and cut muscle and
such they cut through nerves. There are so many nerves in the abdomin,
that it would be impossible for you not to have deadened nerves.
Depending on how long ago your surgery was, over time some feeling does
come back. Everyone is different. Hope this helps. Bren
