Dear Lillian:
Doesn't sound like something I would like to have put inside of me and
deadening the nerve doesn't sound like a good idea to me either. Feel like
I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. After deadening the nerve, does
one not feel like their whole right side? Are you numb in that area forever?
I really have to do some investigating regarding both of these procedures. I
wonder if I am better off just dealing with the pain rather than go through
either of these procedures. I have two Pain Specialists telling me to do two
different procedures. I heard that they can just do injections that are not
permanent. I think I would like to try this first and see what results I get
from that first before doing anything permanent. Have you ever had just an
injection that temporarily deadens the nerve?
Lillian, where is your nerve damage pain that they are trying to take care
of. Which nerve are they trying to block? Mine is the ilio-hypogastric
nerve which the one PS says is far too low to take care of the rib pain.
Gosh, I don't know who to trust.
Love,
Hell-yun
