That was just strike one in this ballgame. (new game, same sport, so to speak) Next Monday I see an orthopedic doctor about my knee,elbows, thumbs, back and hip, etc. Then on April 25th, I see a rheumatologist. One down, two to go.
I think I will call my internist's nurse to see if she'll fax me a copy of the pain dr.'s letter when they get it...can't hurt to try! I bet he uses part of the other pain dr.'s words in HIS letter as he referenced him during our meeting!
Guess I need to find someone that isn't part of their 'club'.
