If your interested in something "natural" for the knees (or other joints)
try Glucosamine.
It is sold anywhere that you can buy vitamins.
I hear it works great. I know allot of people with arthritis who take it.
I have been considering taking it.....I know it can't possibly help all my
problems but worth a try for "some" relief.
P.S. I also have Chondomalasia which was extremely bad after the lengthening
of my hip replacement leg.

Dear Sally,
As you know, the inside of my knee cap is rubbing on the femur on both
knees. I have been given several different anti inflamatories that
havent seemed to help much. The last being 800 mg of Ibruprofen 2 x a
day. When I talked to my DR about changing my pain meds, I asked her if
there was anything else that I could take for my knees for the pain &
inflamation. She gave me a script forMethylprednisolone 4mg. It is a
substitued for Medrol Dosepack 21 tab. It is for 6 days. You start off
with 6 pills & decrease it by 1 each day. After the first 2-3 pills, I
noticed my knees didn't hurt! It has been months since I didn't have
pain in my knees! We are hoping after I finish the pills, they will have
a lasting affect. I sure hope so! I have such a hard time sitting &
standing. & then my knees just hurt, and pop and hurt.
