Dear Jean, I did try the Glucosamine for about 6 weeks. It didn't seem to make any difference at all. My mom told me about it & said it works wonders for her. The Ortho Dr is thinking about surgery for my knees, but wont make a decission until my next apt. May 20. Thanks for the info, someone else might need it. Robin
