Hi! I am writing in a desperate search for answers for my mom. She has excrutiating pain which was diagnosed last week as arachnoiditis. This is a cripling disease to the nerves as a result,in part, from multiple back surgeries. They will treat this with a medical "cocktail" that is injected into her morphine pump. Her other problem is chronic abdominal pain. The doctors are linking this with adhesions and scar tissue due to multiple abdominal surgeries. She had hernia surgery where a mesh was used for healing which may in fact be complicating the scar tissue and adhesions. My siblings and I do not know where to turn. The doctors do not reccommend going back in to remove any of the adhesions, etc. Is there a medication or hospital/doctor that anyone could reccommend? My mom is 74 and has been in a lot of pain for the past 7 years. A little relief would be greatly appreciated. Gina
