Dear Lillian:

May God guide your surgeon's hands. All the best for your upcoming surgery - we will be praying for you. I have read of surgeons entering the pelvis/abdomen from the upper left quadrant (just under the ribs I think) to avoid cutting the bowel. Is this what your surgeon means?

If it is, then I think your Dr must be quite advanced, as I've read that the best of surgeons use this technique when operating on someone with previous surgeries!

Good luck. You will be in my thoughts.
