Dear Brenda:

Sorry to jump in here, but you say that you are on tylenol #3 and celexa. I'm Canadian too, and I just wanted to let you know that extended use of tylenol can cause potential irreversible problems. Please, please, go back to your Dr and get something for 'chronic' pain!

Tylenol can cause internal bleeding. Advil etc is even worse, my Dr tells me. I know how you feel - the Canadian way is to give as little meds for pain as possible, so your Dr probably doesn't want to give you anything stronger, but you need it for pain. If s/he won't prescribe a narcotic, some people have found partial relief of chronic pain with the max (or even higher) dosage of Vioxx or Celebrex. I am now on a mega dose of Vioxx, and I think it may help some, but I'm not really sure yet.

What is Celexa?

Wishing you pain free moments, hours and days,
