To all those who have posted messages about my arrival home after surgery… I thank you so much for your words of encouragement, love & support.

The last two years have been unbelievably hard for my family and myself. I know that there are many of you who have struggled for much longer than that... I pray & hope that one-day, you too will experience the exhilaration of a relative pain free day, week and my next goal.... MONTH! LOL

The pain I am experiencing at the moment is directly associated to my very blocked bowel, very high up & I am undergoing a very extensive daily regime to help remove the "blockage". If this doesn't work, I will return to hospital for a wash out. NONE of my pain is a pulling, tugging, stabbing, burning or continual ache. It is all a very bloated over full feeling.... and I KNOW most of you have experienced THAT feeling at one time or another.

So once my bowel has been retrained & my bladder has regained some of it's tone, I won't need to catheterise (fingers crossed & lots of prayers) or take these HUGE amounts of laxatives, I will almost be normal, touchwood!!! LOL

Love, huggles, cuddles & hugs... Joey
