Dear Kris Ann YES!! We all have friends & family that just don't get it. It is hard for people that dont have pain to understand. It is good that you are still working many of us can't work, but there are others like you that work, & have pain too. I can hardly stand or sit for long before I have to lay down. I havent worked for 5 1/2 years. I don't qualify for disability because my husband makes too much money & I dont have enough work history. I was told by disability, that If I lived alone, I would qualify. If you can find good Pain management, you should not have to worry about having enough pain meds, that is what they do, so they usually don't have their hands tied like many regular DRs do.
