I'm only checking my e-mail every 3-4 days. Sitting @
the computer makes my back burn! I guess I'm really
fortunate, all my adhesions seem to be above my navel,
in the right upper quadrant. Actually making love with
my husband is one of the few things I can still enjoy.
When I'm not in a lot of pain that is. Urinating is no
problem, either. The Drs. had me on anti-depressants
for several months, I weaned myself off of them, they
did nothing for me except ruin my sex life, the one
thing that was still working for me. I read one on the
side effects was on your sex life, so I said these
have got to go! I tried cold turkey, talk about
addiction, I was sicker than a dog for three days, so
I had to go back on them, & slowly wean myself off of
them. I have an apt. Mon. with my surgeon, my employer
is trying to force me back to work. They just won't
take my word for it that the surgery did NOT work. I
don't know what they think seeing my surgeon will do,
he can't measure my pain, & all the tests in the world
won't show up adhesions. Hopefully, I can convince him
that I am still in pain & he will go to bat for me.
Angie, I'm 44, but I feel like I'm 104! I have two
children, Corie, my daughter is 24, she is student
teaching, she will graduate in Dec., we are very proud
of her, & Craig, our son, is 22, he is married to his
high school sweetie, Richelle, who is 22, also. They
have been married two years, he is a Fire-Fighter/EMT
& she is an RN, we're very proud of them, too. My
husband's name is Bob, we are high school sweethearts,
we've been married 26 yrs. If it weren't for him I'd
be in the funny farm. Thanks for letting me vent, it
really helps to know someone who actually understands
what I'm going through. I really appreciate hearing
from you. Write to me anytime you need a friend. Where
do you live, by the way?
