Hello Sarah,

It is tough living with pain for a long time... I too have lived with pain for a lifetime. While my pain as a child was associated to my hips, not adhesions, as a teenager came the addition of menstrual pain which I didn't discover was due to endometriosis until April 2001 and I am now 37!! Pain from adhesions started some time after the c-section birth of my eldest daughter in 1985 and gradually increased with the subsequent births of my other three daughters, yes... all by c-section.

I am glad that you are attending a pain clinic and that you also have other therapeutic support. This isn't an easy thing to live with and it is important that each of us finds as much support as we can.

I have started The Australian Adhesions Support Group http://www.bombobeach.com , and there you will find a section called "How to Cope" there are many practical hints & tips to help you cope with pain on a daily basis.

Visit this site, and you are welcome to join bombo too.... and stay in touch, one of the great things about message boards, chat rooms.... it gives us the opportunity to discuss our challenges with others who KNOW & FEEL the same way we do. It all helps.

Love & warm gentle hugs,
