We have all written to Oprah, Montel and anyone else we can think of! Don't stop writing though, because it takes VOLUMES of similar letters for the show's producers to start taking notice. The other thing is that by starting with the editors of local newspapers it gets a little recognition and then when we write to these bigger shows, we include the published letters.... gives us more clout & credibility ;-)
I have managed to get information about Chronic, Invisible Awareness week" mentioned in my local newspaper, on the local radio station and local TV. My favourite saying is "You will never never know, if you don't give it a go", so I urge you all to write your own Letter to the Editor and help us get the awreness campaign started.
My hanks to Nancy Hale, Anthea Nesbitt and Annie Hawksley, for all your hard work in helping to coordinate this massive campaign.
love & warm gentle hugs, Jo
