I am glad that you appreciate the significance of the Letter to the Editor Campaign started by Myself and Anthea Nesbitt..... I am also thrilled to hear that you have gained and interview next week.... I had my interview yesterday and the article will be in our paper in the next few days.
When you speak to your reporter, I would appreciate it if you mention that this campaign was started in Australia and by The Australian Adhesions Support Group http://www.bombobeach.com ... after all whenever I do ANY activity about adhesions, I ALWAYS mention the IAS and the great work being done by the team here.
Once your article is published, please email a copy of the article to me at admin@bombobeach.com and include the name of the paper, the reporter, the editor, the address and the date it appeared. It will then be included in our new "Press Gallery" section on bombo.
Anthea & I appreciate the effort and support our campaign is receiving.... so THANK YOU Helen, and to everyone else who wrote a letter..... Regardless of whether the article was published or not, it is the effort that counts....
I have always said that one or two people can't do all the work to get recognition of ARD, it takes each one of us doing just a little bit towards our "cause".
I know have said this already on the bombo message board, but - I really can see that elephant, his tail is chomped off and his ears are quite nibbled around the edges... as the saying goes "you CAN eat an elephant - it just takes one bite at a time!" -
